Episode 43: Delma Rivera Lytle- Grace for the Misfit
Golden Nuggets from Delma:
It is sadly easy to “brush off” the needs of others.
God weaves thin threads of connections (even the smallest of things like pageant shoes) for His greater purposes.
Be willing to learn from differing: cultures, opinions, languages, religions.
Seek first to understand before being understood
We all feel like we are “misfits” in life sometimes.
Give people GRACE!
Our “eccentricity” or whatever makes us different, can actually be the thing that inspires others.
Don’t imitate others. Live in your own authenticity.
Give 100% to whatever work you do!
Diversity is beautiful in the body of Christ…..not to be divisive.
Sharing our difficulties helps us connect.
In life…things work out…but often when we are young we go into crisis mode.
We need to have courageous conversations.
